Valence Intelligence (“Valence”) is an Invoice to Cash SaaS platform with a focus on helping CPG brands, Life Sciences and medical device firms maximize their cash flow and increase overall profit margins. We help companies manage their retail/distribution customer relationships, improve cash collections and manage their Gross to Net deductions, recovering additional funds on their behalf.  We work within our customers’ existing ERP ecosystem and help them integrate data intelligence from a variety of third party sources.

Our customers range from SMB, midmarket to large global enterprise brands, who we help save millions of dollars a year. Our Go to Market strategy is both direct and via partnerships, with a small group of strategic partners driving large enterprise opportunities.  

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Marketing Operations Specialist to join our team in India. This role is critical for enhancing our marketing efficiency, improving CRM utilization, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CRM systems - preferably HubSpot, but familiarity with Zoho or Salesforce is also valuable.

This hire will play a key role in leveraging CRM data to build targeted marketing lists, manage campaigns, and ensure our marketing engine runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  1. CRM Management & Optimization
    • Own end-to-end administration and optimization of HubSpot CRM and Marketing Hub
    • Configure and manage:
      1. Lead and account lifecycle stages
      2. Lead scoring and qualification logic
      3. Workflows, automation, and data hygiene
    • Ensure HubSpot is fully aligned with the sales process and pipeline stages
    • Act as the primary HubSpot point-of-contact for Sales and Marketing teams
  2. Marketing Analytics & Targeting
    • Create highly targeted prospect lists for outreach, campaigns, and ABM (Account Based Marketing) initiatives.
    • Set up dashboards, reports, and performance insights to track marketing KPIs.
    • Analyse campaign data to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Ensure attribution tracking and data integrity across systems.
  3. Campaign Operations
    • Marketing collaboration with Kevin, Elise
    • Execute and manage marketing campaigns, including email, Linkedin and ads, using content workflows, and nurture sequences.
    • Build templates, segment audiences, and ensure deliverability best practices.
    • Monitor performance metrics and continuously improve campaign effectiveness through testing.
  4. System Integration
    • Manage integrations between CRM and marketing tools (email, events, analytics, automation platforms).
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data flow and system alignment.
  5. Sales Partnership
    • Partner with the Sales Director to align marketing operations, CRM structure, and reporting with sales strategy and pipeline goals
    • Own the lead handoff process from marketing to sales, including MQL/SQL definitions and SLAs
    • Ensure HubSpot reflects the sales process accurately (pipeline stages, deal fields, attribution)
    • Measure lead conversion & revenue
    • Collaborate with Sales to build and maintain target account lists and prioritized outbound segments
    • Provide Sales with actionable insights such as:
      1. Account engagement data
      2. Campaign influence on open and closed deals
      3. Conversion and velocity metrics across the funnel
    • Establish regular feedback loops with Sales to improve lead quality, targeting, and messaging


Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in marketing operations, marketing automation, or CRM administration in Tech / SaaS industry.
  • Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, or BI tools for advanced analysis.
  • Understanding of sales processes, lead funnels, and demand-generation activities.
  • Strong analytical capability - comfortable with data segmentation, reporting, and campaign metrics.
  • Experience with email marketing tools, workflows, and nurture journeys.
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into system configuration.
  • Strong attention to detail, process orientation, and documentation skills.
